Testaccio has many charms– good restaurants, Linari, 00100, the Monte, the mercato, I could go on. But if none of those things bring you down to this neighborhood that is only slightly, slightly out of the center but feels a world away. This wolf should. Because it’s awesome.
Though this mural has been up since 2014 and is painted by the AMAZING artist ROA, I saw it for the first time this trip. Worth it. Totally, totally worth it. It almost makes up for the loss of Big Bambù, which had been right down the street.
